FAQs
BEFORE your microblading appointment:
-
Microblading is a semi-permanent, hyper realistic eyebrow shaping. This hair drawing technique enables you to fill in thin eyebrows or even shape an draw eyebrows without any natural hair.
-
Drawing is performed with needles lined up to deposit color into the skin in the shape of the hair.
-
We only use PhiBrows Supe microblading pigments. They are the only pigments on the market that the manufacturer guarantees that the color will not change. Our pigments are certified metal free and 100% MRI safe.
The pigments are hypoallergenic, vegan friendly and cruelty free.

No. A tattoo is the application of ink deep into the middle layer of the epidermis, which is permanent. Microblading is applied into much shallower layer so that the color can fade. Shape and height can be modified from time to time. This flexibility over time is necessary because as we age, the skin changes and begins to sag.
-
The amount of pain experienced can be compared to having your eyebrows plucked. A cream anesthetic may be used to reduce the pain to a minimum. Microblading hurts less then getting a tattoo. Some clients even fall asleep during their treatment.
-
The color last for a year on average. However, the results are individual as they depend on external factors such as sunbathing, or internal factors such as excessive oil production in the skin, flaking or perspiring excessively.
-
Microblading can be done on sensitive skin. The artist will ask you questions to learn more about your skin type and your allergies. However, microblading cannot be done on certain skin problems like rosacea.

AFTER your microblading treatment:
-
The entire healing process will take from 4-6 weeks depending on your body regeneration and age. Your microblading artist will explain you the healing cycle process specific to your skin type. They will give you your after care kit and the guidelines to take good care of your new flawless brows.
Please consult our aftercare page for more details.
-
Microblading Eyebrows is a semi-permanent procedure, so they will begin to fade after 12-14 months. The coloring is really natural, and even when the ink fades, it never gets to the point where it is changing color.
In order to keep your brows looking fresh, a touch up is required every 12-18 months. More frequent touch ups may be required if you chose a soft light shade initially, or if you did not follow your aftercare instructions.
-
Microblading is done in 2 sessions : the initial session, and the 6-8 week touch up.
The first touch up is a must and you shouldn't skip it. Otherwise, the whole treatment can be ruined and you have wasted your money. The purpose of the touch up is to correct all imperfections that may have emerged during the healing process, like sparse patches or some strokes disappearing.
-
If you don't get the first touch up microblading, your brows will stay the way they turned out once the skin has healed – uneven and patchy. If you don't touch them up ever again, they will fade within 6-12 months.
